The use of an aluminized and stainless steel heat exchanger and modulating gas valve provide up to 83% AFUE efficiency. Unlike a traditional duct system, the Ductless Heating System minimizes heat and energy loss. Its low electrical consumption also adds to its efficiency benefits.

How ductless heating works
The Thermistor
- Designed to accurately monitor room temperature at 2” off the floor
- Capable of detecting temperature changes as little as half of a degree
- Detects cold air that has entered the room and dropped to the floor
Response
- Within 10 seconds, the Ductless Heating System begins to gently heat the room at low fan speed
- It increases fan speed and BTU output if necessary to achieve set temperature
- Once desired temperature is achieved, the unit shuts off and goes into stand-by mode
Room Monitoring
- As the temperature of the room gradually drops, the ductless heater restarts and gradually warms the room back to the set temperature
- If there is a sudden injection of cold air, the unit will respond with higher fan speed and BTUs to quickly restore the temperature
